The whole daddy with the shotgun thing is a pretty good deterrent. It was for me when I was a young lad. What do you mean, we're out of coffee! WWW IP Logged

It kept me respectable! If I had a daughter I'd do the same thing! "You will have her home by 11:00 and you will treat her like a lady, won't you son." "Sir, yes sir!" Although there are still enough small towns where that is the norm! (My Mom and Dad would have kicked my butt if I didn't behave like a gentleman! ) What do you mean, we're out of coffee! Or were you talking in real life? In that case, try down south. They're still making moonshine there. IP Logged

It was very odd. Especially since the more beautiful homes (if you want to talk class) were in the town itself, not the township. It was very weird growing up there. I never did understand where they got their high opinion of themselves! IP Logged

It's funny as my wife grew up in one of them (EG) and her family struggled to make ends meet. I don't know how they did it. I wouldn't want to live in either town as they are too crowded.
