Highlander Endgame  - the utter bullsh*t they have done to this wonderful franchise was so painful my backteeth hurt!

G: Was endgame the one with mario van peebles as the opponent? I like to pretend that never happened.

ATOR the Fighting Eagle ... I paid $0.50 to see this in the late 70's and felt I should have asked for my money back.  Cheesy

AVP -- Never again, not even for the gorgeous predator suits.

Aliens III ... oh, wait, I've actually never seen that one ... (didn't see it, never happened)

I watch so much on dvd it's hard to say.

Louise: you need a personal dvd player ... or one on your computer ... so you can watch things no one else would. I used to get up on Saturday mornings to watch things no one else would, I have a bunch of those. Or, at least things my spousal unit didn't want to watch over and over and over again ... <snicker>

(<snickering> DMC/POTCII ... The shocked look on Jack's face when Liz kisses him... sorry, that's so classic I have to sleep through ... er ... watch it again.  Cheesy  )

Event Horizon-It was just a gratuitous gore-fest
The Matrix - I fell asleep in the middle-nuff said
The Avengers - who on earth though Uma Thurman could fill Diana Rigg's boots?
Thunderbirds (2004) - What was Frakes thinking of? He hadn't even seen the original series before he started directing

Kill Bill? (on dvd)

Thunderbirds wasn't that bad I thought, but I had memories of seeing Thunderbirds are Go and  TB6 and they were both rubbish, so I wasn't expecting anything half-way decent ... which is what we got!

Arthur... Clive Owen.. good once but not again.

That's where we  differ - I enjoyed both those films, particularly TAG -at least they carried on with what the TV series had started

I found the problem with TAG was that it was (like the Frakes fiasco!) very Alan centred, and didn't really consider the other characters  in the series. there was also too much 'human' involvement... hands etc in place of puppets. And the  story , although very good. (I LOVED Zero X)  was not a full blown rescue mission.

When you consider the latest StarTrek film, which I loved as well, it was such a pity that the Anderson films didn't live up to the tv series.
Let's just hope that the new UFO film, if it ever gets made, doesn't end up being mentioned on a topic like this!

oh yes. I hated Alan!

Oh, my. I'm a Kill Bill fan ... Well, KB2 more than KB1, but I love fight scenes. LOL.

(I suppose I really shouldn't say I liked TBare Go and the movie ... <snicker>)

I'm still trying to figure out the last one at the movies that I really felt ripped off about, there was one, but I can not for the life of me recall what it was ... That must make it really bad because I collect old bad movies ...

There is so much I will give a second chance just to see if I missed something the first time ... (Probably shouldn't admit I enjoyed the matrix too, but i love live action cartoons!)

I'll ask the spousal unit and see if he can remember.

Ah yes, the latest Star Trek film, never seen anything so horrid.

Nope, don't f**k with the local universe! And that one did with the ST universe. Horrible! Plus I entirely hated the "new" Kirk and "new" Spock. Completely different mechanics between the two, destroying literally decades of canon and much-beloved fanon.

All three Matrix movies are on my fav list, not high up, but solidly on it.

Gee, Mr. Smith alone would put them there!  Grin

I loved the Matrix!  All three actually.  Don't care at all if you disagree.  I thought they were awesome and totally fresh, which is something we rarely get from Hollywood.  Cool

And the new Star Trek!  I was so grateful that they messed everything up -- because now whatever movie they do will be something entirely new! (Reminds me of the classic Python line: 'And now for something completely different!')  Woo-hoo!  Also, loved the portrayal of all the characters!  So fun, which is what the original series was all about -- fun and adventure!  Cheesy

As for movies to only see once?  There are too many to count!  Ugh!  Tongue Tongue  I'd rather talk about the ones that left a good impression.  But I guess that's another thread. *snicker*

I really liked the new Trek as well. Changing to time line the way they did was a brillant way to usher in a whole new take on the series! The new Kirk and Spock reacted differently because the curcumstances of their meeting had changed!

I loved it when McCoy said to Spock, "Are you out of your Vulcan mind?" Cheesy

Diana Rigg was so far ahead of her time it would be tough for anyone to fill her boots!

As for once only movies,

Smokey and the Bandit 2 and 3

Beyond the Poesidon Adventure

Jaws 2, 3, 4 et al

I'll think of more!

Oh yes in all of these cases it was the sequel grossly inferior to the original movie! Spoiled it they did! >Sad

If I wasn't a die hard Star Trek Fan I would add,

Star Trek TMP Robert Wise tried to make an epic of it. He didn't understand what made Star Trek work!
Star Trek V The Final Frontier The plot sucked!
