Wasn't he fun in that movie?  I loved it when he was chasing the boy down with his shotgun at the beginning!  I kept hoping he'd wing him at least! *snicker*

Yeah, me too. Cheesy

The whole daddy with the shotgun thing is a pretty good deterrent. It was for me when I was a young lad. :Smiley

It was the daddy cleaning the gun when I picked the young lady up for a date! It kept me respectable! If I had a daughter I'd do the same thing! Cheesy

"Sir, yes sir!" Wink

Now days you wouldn't be able to get away with that (too bad)! Although there are still enough small towns where that is the norm! Grin

(My Mom and Dad would have kicked my butt if I didn't behave like a gentleman! Shocked Cheesy)

Yep.  Small towns like Forks, Washington where a certain sheriff's daughter gets involved with a vampire.   Cheesy
Or were you talking in real life?  Grin  In that case, try down south.  They're still making moonshine there.

My husband went  to King's School in Canterbury.. Wonderful wonderful town. Fabulous Cathedral! or is that a visitors biased viewpoint?

I grew up in a town of 13,000 (Kewanee) where the township that was part of the town (Whethersfield)considered themselves of a higher class than the rest of the town.  It was very odd.  Especially since the more beautiful homes (if you want to talk class) were in the town itself, not the township.  It was very weird growing up there.  I never did understand where they got their high opinion of themselves!  Roll Eyes

We have two towns in RI (East Greenwich, Barrington) that seem to think they are the cat's meow! It's funny as my wife grew up in one of them (EG) and her family struggled to make ends meet. I don't know how they did it.

I wouldn't want to live in either town as they are too crowded.
