Amelia - your avid (or should that be rabid?) fans are waiting for the final installment.

You got Ed into this horrible predicament. Now you have to get him out, one way or another.  Shocked

NOW!

We only take orders from Commander Straker.

Actually, it's finished. Our beta has it now. Check your e-mail, Deborah. ED

Brilliant, absolutlely brilliant! There is a lesson here, a big one. Having written a near death experience myself, this one really spoke to me.

Bravo! Smiley

Wow!  Shocked  That was quite a tale (pun intended.)  When I remember that you said my story A Little Magic inspired it, I have to shake my head.  It just goes to show you that you can give two writers the same exact premise and they'll come up with wildly different stories.  I really liked your take on the idea.  You're an incredible writer.  You shouldn't worry that your story isn't good enough -- at all! Wink

I second that Amelia you are an amazing writer.  I have always been a fan of your work since the very early days of Mice, I couldn't get enough of it and it's still the same.  Paw is a really wonderful story and you too have an exquisite heart.

I applaud you

I have to be truthful, and admit we didn't write the story. We stole it.

I'm glad Alec used Aegis to stop the coroner from doing the post mortem on Ellen.

My only quibble (seing as I tend to include a lot of police procedural into my other stuff) - I doubt even Aegis could just stop the medical examiner from doing his(her) job and not raise really serious red flags all over.

Aegis COULD order the file sealed or classified. But stopping an autopsy on a gunshot victim - Alec would have to have had the body sent to the FBI or another agency.

And that's just a procedural quibble.

Otherwise - wowsers.  Grin
