It's all true. OMG! It's just so true! *giggle* See what I mean about continuity problems? Sheesh! No one's that naive or stupid! (Okay, so maybe a few people are.) But Straker? No. The sky is not the limit; nor are the stars. WWW IP Logged

Creativity doesn't only come in one color. Got it in one Amelia! I've been saying for quite a while now, characterization is often in the eye of the beholder. A prime example is Virginia, as I write her much warmer than she is generally perceived in the show. But I don't see that as a violation of canon. I saw that aspect of her personality and my writing brings that warmth forward. I do try to stay within the boundaries of canon in most of my stories, choosing to write my way around certain problems. (Like I did in Silver Star) I wrote an essay on the subject. Hi Blue, Yeah it was, I needed to cast Ginny and Ed as best friends in Matters of the Heart. Throughout the Hewett series, Ed and Virginia still speak very fondly of Alec. Gone but never forgotten. A prime example is Virginia, as I write her much warmer than she is generally perceived in the show. You can look at her concern for Straker in The Long Sleep, that's an indication, at least to me, of her warmth. Straker valued her. He wouldn't have allowed anyone else to do that Really sir? Didn't know that sir? line. "my big blue eyes" Straker has thoughts about her in maelstrom, but he isn't who asks her out. I personally think she did have a fling with Alec. My question is how does she sleep on that hair? LOL my husband said Matt would probably volunteer to find out IP Logged

I think I have a pretty good idea who does and I have a very high opinion of him. BTW I really enjoyed reading Virginia's POV in Chapter 6. I have always felt that there was much more to her than met the eye, and you bring thoses aspects to the surface very well. What do you mean, we're out of coffee! WWW IP Logged
