Ed and I have been really, really ill, required morphine again some weeks ago, so the sequel of Fete won't be written for a while if at all. I'm still here and Ed has some ideas for new stories, so when our health stabilizes a little, we'll do some writing. Please don't say get well, you don't get well from fibro and osteoarthritis. Just wish us well, we could use good positive thoughts. Ed had injections into his trigger points that hurt like hell but relieved pain. The relief wasn't long enough, and so we are going back to medication. Guys getting fibro are rare, but osteo isn't rare, sigh.
We did get a marvelous free new Queen bed with a bookcase headboard and wonderful Serta mattress (we'd had a lousy hard rock of an Ikea full bed and mattress before) with Nans' help, and some new lamps Nans bought Ed. During the recent earthquakes, Ed was holding on to me and the lamps, chuckle. I think he would have saved the lamps first. Hmmph!

It was the first time we'd experienced an earthquake in our new apartment. Talk about scared! And I'm used to earthquakes! The epicenter was right here in Berkeley. Incredible shaking and a loud WHAM! but it didn't last long. The aftershocks were almost just as bad.
Nans will be coming out to see us for two weeks in Dec, having a mother-in-law beta is a plus. Recently she sent me a bracelet set to cheer me up, Honora pearls, green, gold and bronze. I love pearls. She'd already gotten me a green necklace from Honora. I'm waiting for a ring, Nans

She also got me a sample of Tresor Midnight Rose. Neither of us liked it. I stick to regular Tresor.
