As you all can probably tell, I've been catching up with my author's notes for my last few stories. I just need to do the ones for The Gift and I'll be caught up! Cheesy

Hey! Muse! Get back over here! You got more 'splainin' to do! Shocked

Dang! there she goes again! Angry

Shut up, Matt!  Wink  (As in Straker's 'shut up, Alec!'  In fact, I can hear him saying it to you, so pay attention!)  Cheesy  Some of us will never get caught up on their author's notes!  Embarrassed  I thought I could take this time while I'm on vacation and at least get some of them done -- I have over 30 to do -- but my mind isn't cooperating.  All I want to do at the end of each day is crawl into bed and sleep!  Vacations wear you out!!!!  Tongue  However, it's been good to see you getting yours done and to hear your thoughts on your stories.  You're an example to us all.  And now that you're caught up, stop reminding us that we're not!  Grin

Matt Hewett snaps to attention, "Yes Commander." grabs Gin by the hand, and stalks out of Straker's office, muttering something about efficiency being frowned upon in this establishment. Smiley Grin

I only had three to do, so my task wasn't nearly as daunting as yours would be. And it's much harder after the fact.  Wink

Vacation? I had one of those, once, I should take some time off, but everytime I think about it, another project comes down the road. I've got almost seven weeks on the books, not counting personal time. In that way, I'm just like Ed! :Smiley Somebody told me once, work will always be there, I should listen. Wink

*sigh*  For some of us, work is our play!  I remember Asimov saying that his wife forced him to go on vacation with her each year, so he'd take along his typewriter so he could set up a table on the patio and write while she went off and enjoyed their surroundings!  Grin
