Stuck in the Medical Centre -- oh, my!

This is the second day of my incarceration, and I'm tired of looking at nature through a window!  Can I please have some of Claire's warm weather, so that I'm not glaring at the rain and sneezing against the chill?  Embarrassed

My poor tomatoes could use some warm weather. We had sleet here yesterday.

What's up with the Medical Center?

Sorry to hear that you are under the weather (no pun intended) Denise, hope you feel better soon. Smiley

Somebody is playing with the weather machine again! Angry

Praying for warn weather for Deb's tomatoes. Wink

Here in Rhode Island it's been around 50-60, but windy as anything. I need to get up on the roof and repair one of my antennas. Wink

Oh, duh, in bed with cold.  Embarrassed
I do have my days of obliviousness.

Stay warm, drink plenty of fluids, you know the drill.  Wink

Thanks for the sympathy, guys!  I just wish we could go back to the lovely weather we had last week.  It was going out in this mess that got me sick in the first place.  I'm a bit better today, but still not enough to venture back outside.  It sucks!  Smiley

Sorry to hear you're not well, Denise. Get better soon.

You'll probably find writing will aid your recovery. <tongue-in-cheek Wink >

(But bad weather doesn't cause colds, you know... viruses do...)
< ducks-and-runs >

We need rain! It's officially a drought here. And so hot for April. Our rainwater capture system is down to 50% full - which is insane for April. It's usually upwards of 100%, ie with the surplus running off down the hillside.

You can have our rain.  We have more than our share right now.  I'm constantly having to unplug my laptop and run on the batteries, because the storm systems just keep coming through!  :Smiley

Yes, I know it's the viruses, but still.  If it would stay warm like April is supposed to do, I wouldn't have caught one!  Angry  And I still have a few outfits to complete for the show a week from Saturday.  Aaaaack!

Yep Denise, it's on it's way.  Shame there's no wind it would get over there quicker.  Stay warm and drink plenty of fluids like Deb says.  Horrible knowing you're not well, take care.

No.  Angry And it was 29° in the shade yesterday afternoon.  Angry In a very shady area that never gets the sun.  Angry

Just means that it'll rain throughout June, July and August!

Hope you're feeling much better now, btw.  Smiley

Denise,

Get well please!!

But if you could hang around for an hour or so ... I may be joining you  Wink.

Yesterday, woke up with what looks like an insect bite on my leg which may (or may not be) heading towards cellulitis!  It's on a part of my leg that has dodgy skin and the slightest thing sets it off.  Last time was 2006 and it was awful, so hoping this doesn't go up too  Undecided

I think bugs have an unfailing knack for biting where it'll do the most damage!  Nasty things!   Undecided

Hope it heals quickly for you!  I'll be sending healing thoughts your way!  Smiley
