Patricia Briggs Dragon Bones and Dragon Blood; Shoot, I haven't been reading much other than dresden and fan fic lately. (Well, and lots of school work books and articles on how to do quantitative research ... About to swing back into classes the 19th.) Lovecraft. Did I mention Lovecraft? And his disciples/friends. Things with tentacles. Chittering things with tentacles for mouths that scoop out and eat brains ... Sorry, got a little carried away there. And pretty much stuff with dragons. (I'd forgotten McCaffrey, which I don't quite understand considering that the cover nearly fell off my hardbound copy of the White Dragon) <-- oh, look, another dragon! LOL. The problem is, when you're a word addict, you can't necessarily remember everything that's ever influenced you. And I'm probably as influenced by TV and movies as I am by what I read. Obviously, we need another topic: Alternate Media worth watching/listening to. laters d IP Logged

I've got a section of my personal website devoted just to the movies that have influenced me over the years. (And there's lots of them!) And guess what? They're all wildly romantic! (I know. Big surprise.) IP Logged
