Come to think of it, I think one of my father's ancestors was named Louise. I'll have to check the family tree! What do you mean, we're out of coffee! WWW IP Logged

I would probably like it better if it didn''t mean what it does: follower of the wine god. I'm not now, nor have ever been, a lush. Nor is it an ambition of mine. So the name doesn't work for me. The only way I've ever found to tolerate it is through the Christian prettification of it. They just define it as : a worshipper. Now THAT I can get behind! IP Logged

I've always felt that you define your name by who you are. I don't touch the stuff either, I found out early on that not remembering what happened the night before, or being sick the next day was not a lot of fun. And worshipping, both Sue and I are there! Equaly yoked! What do you mean, we're out of coffee! WWW IP Logged

Bacchus, of course, has his issues, but Rome tended to overdo most things. (laughter). I like Bacchus, but only because his tavern occasionally crops up in things I read or write and that's a whole 'nother universe. <g> <smacks the fan fic fairy that's looking thoughtfull and thinking Ed and .... I got a body wrap done as a favor for a friend who's in the business. I can't even begin to tell you how weird it felt to be wrapped in saran wrap! But the results were pretty cool! I may have to do it again sometime. IP Logged
