I really do need to sit down and write bio's and backstories on all the major characters. I did it for Ginny and that worked out pretty well. For Ed and Alec I use Deb's backstory. Ed's is tweeked a bit. It's so much easier to bring them to life when you know where they came from. I have an interesting take on SHADO's impact on familiy life that I'm going to try.
