I so enjoy stories with megalomaniacs!  They're always so sure they're right!  (Hmmm . . . that reminds me of someone, but I can't quite put my finger on who at the moment.  Oh, well.  Give us more to read and maybe I'll remember.)  Grin

Hmmm...... :Smiley Anyone I've heard of? Grin

Denise is right, this is the beginning of a great story. You guys are making me look bad. Well I have the prologue for The Omega Conundrum in my head, I just hate to start it with three other stories already hanging. Dang RL anyway, it always gets in the way! Grin

Ah, but Trask isn't really mine - he belongs to Mister Zabel and Warner Bros. I'm just borrowing him for the nonce.  Wink

But isn't it funny how megalomaniacs all seem to act alike - until somebody locks them up or takes them out?  :Smiley

They definitely are of a type.  I have a lot of pity for megalomaniacs, actually, because it's so hard for them to handle the fact that the world refuses to conform to their wishes.  They're just not very adaptable.  It's sad.

When do we get more of the story?

Ooooh!   Shocked  Political intrigue!  *sigh*  Straker is just so devious, isn't he?  Wink

More, please.  :Smiley

Ed really knows how to play both ends against the middle. Secretly, he's a Jackson disciple.  Grin

That's not the end, is it?  I'm so confused!  Cheesy  Please say you're not stopping there -- please?

It's because you put that credit at the end.  It threw me off.  Whew!  I'm so relieved that you aren't ending there!  Smiley

It's funny the differences between fandoms - on the L&C board it's 'Man, you're going to turn these eps on their heads!' and "Straker's back!"  Cool

Well, I don't know the original L & C episodes, so this story is all new to me.  But I'm glad they're excited about having Straker back in their universe!  Cool  My universe isn't complete without him.  Wink

Not doing a sequel for something with at least 4 more sections - yet. Smiley
