I just got the best birthday present ever!  My writer son wrote me a UFO fanfic story for my birthday!  Woo-hoo!  It's called "Any Time, Any Place" and can be found here:

He's going to put it up in 2 more parts, finishing on Wednesday (which is my birthday.)  I'm so excited!!!!  Cheesy

Oh, that's so sad!  Sorry, Deb!  I completely understand.  My other son doesn't take the time to talk to me often, so in a way, it actually ends up meaning more to me when James does.

Well, DH took me to dinner a couple days late, admitted to the waitress that he'd goofed and for gotten my Bday too, so his name was 'mud' for the duration of the meal and I got my birthday treats from the restaurant anyway. So that was sweet of them. Smiley

LOL! Well, David doesn't believe in B'days and the kitty never gets me pressies, so the only card I got this year was from my Mom.

Hey, Denise? Is the story finished yet? I hate reading stories that aren't finished yet, cuz sometimes they never get finished and then I'm left hanging and a piece of my brain is lost forever in the chasm of wondering what happened next .........

And did I wish you a happy birthday? If not, Happy Birthday! And if so, Happy Birthday Again!

Thanks, Yuchy!  The story is finished, but it's not completely up yet.  He's making me wait until my actual birthday for the end of it.  If you wait till Wednesday to follow the link, you'll find the entire story.  Only chapter 1 is up so far.

It's a very interesting story - reminds me of some of the 'Soul Mates' stories over on L&C.

I have no idea where it's going or what universe it's in.  With Jimmy, it's always hard to tell just how far out he'll go.  I can't wait to read the rest!  Grin

I assume it's finished. When does it get posted outside your forum?  Wink
Gotta love Jackson, BTW.

Jackson is my Bubba's favorite character from the show.  Cheesy

I'll have to ask him if he'd like to have the story posted at the Library.  He might feel honored.  It's hard to say.  I'm supposed to get the epilogue tonight, but if he's gaming, it may be tomorrow before I get it.  :Smiley

Thanks!  Smiley  I spent most of the day coughing, because my sweet little granddaughters shared their colds with me.  But I had a great story to read from Bubba and an intriguing one to write.  So it was all good.  Cool

Gah, sorry you were sick - being sick sucks, but being sick on holidays sucks more. {HUG}

I will see if I can go get the whole story now.
