Is there going to be an August challenge? For my forum, I chose a time travel theme for this month, sending your favorite characters to another time -- past or future. What do you think? Would the writers here have fun with that? The sky is not the limit; nor are the stars. WWW IP Logged

Reply #8 - Aug 7th, 2011 at 4:56pm Print Post No clue - but I hope we're going to find out. For myself - my muse wants to do something - but insists that HG Wells be involved. Which means something with the soul tracker from L&C, which means... well, let's just say that my muse, while easily bored, has a very competitive streak. Reply #9 - Aug 7th, 2011 at 5:06pm Print Post I have a couple time travel stories on the back burner, but my next project is a flashback story involving Virginia and Ed when they first meet. And seeing that she doesn't work for him at that point, expect her to speak her mind! Can you say tiger by the tail? I'm making a real effort to finish my gender bender this week so I can start this. H.G. Wells would be a hoot! I loved that series of episodes in L&C! What do you mean, we're out of coffee! WWW IP Logged

But then (apologies, Deb!) Superman was never my thing. However, I don't mind meeting H.G. Wells in a story. Do it, Deb! Pssst! Falco is the detective in ancient Rome. Reply #12 - Aug 11th, 2011 at 2:51am Print Post Yes, Marcus Didius Falco is a 'Private Informer' (PI) in ancient Rome - around 70-80 AD. I'm actually in a quandry. I didn't want to make this third story a crossover, but without the time travel scenario, I don't have much of a story. When I'm finished, I may just combine them all into one story I've got 3 pages done and no where to go but back in time, so that's probably what I'll have to do. I know why the Aliens have gone back to ancient Rome - just dunno yet who will be going. Straker, definitely, but who else? I'm leaning towards Foster. Haven't decided if the gender-changing anomaly will be fixed yet or if they will both arrive back in ancient Rome as women. Hey, how many posts do I need to make before I make Captain and then Major? Yeah, I'm a smutty-minded perv - what of it? WWW IP Logged
