I don't have any cats right now.  They've been superceded by the fun of having grandchildren.  So I'll share a few fairies with you instead:

It's hard to see in the photos but she has the most marvelous Cleopatra eyeliner.

She IS  beautiful, and normally very well mannered and friendly. And she has a softest fur I've ever felt on a dog - almost cat-like but coarser.

She's half Sheltie and half Spitz and both halves are AKC papered. The breeder's male Sheltie died and so, as a experiment, bred her Sheltie females to her Spitz male for 'pet' puppies. Shelties can be very shy - but that rarely shows up in Gracie.

Something has to be really off with a new person for her to hide behind my legs.

We have a sign by the front door - 'Home to a spoiled rotten dog.'

The postman think's it's hilarious.

She sheds like crazy - we go look at furniture in stores and categorize things as 'hair proof' and 'not hair proof'. Good thing the living room furniture is leather.  Grin

The groomers get about a chihuahua's worth of hair off her every time we go in for her nails and a brushing. And she only weighs 20 lbs.  Shocked
