Time Turner?

Say, did anyone ever recreate that time machine Louise used in her AfterMath story?  Or maybe even a replica of the time turner Hermione used in HP would work.  Anyone got an extra? *sigh*  It's that time of the year again when I'm scrambling to finish all my projects so I'm ready for the Annual Fashion Show.  And I'd much rather be writing!  I mean, I love clothes.  (Doesn't everybody?)  But my sequel is about ready to go on paper, and I want to get to it!  And there just isn't enough time!  (I hate when this happens!)  Undecided  Anyone got any ideas how I can do it all?  Huh

I've got a captured UFO used in Distant Memories that might be able to fill the bill! Cheesy

Yeah, but if it's anything like the UFO my guys captured in the Devilsgate Saga, it's far too tricky to try and work the thing!  I don't want to end up 10 years in the past!  Shocked

Exactly!  :Smiley

No, I just need a few extra hours every day for the next month!  Then I'll be fine.  Anyone know how to do that?  (Other than pulling all-nighters for the next 30 days!  I don't want to spend May in the hospital recovering.)  Tongue

I'm still recovering from the all nighter I pulled Monday night. Not to mention having to climb an ice covered fire tower at 2 AM. Shocked

Move over Librarian  I saw the resource first. Grin You have no idea how long I wanted to find that thing about the female pilots. I wanted it for what's her name, who filled in for carlin.
Sorry to hear about your insect problem, Matt. Try Clark Pest Control. No, Librarian, not that Clark.

I'll lend you Sir Peregrine Falcon, he can impersonate you, then you can write. Just don't upset him, he tends to faint when that happens.

Did you perhaps mean someone? If you aren't careful with your writing, you'll never become a skilled UFO story writer.

Amelia (who giggles and then joins the French Foreign Legion under another assumed name to hide from the Librarian)

Long story made short, one of our local police departments has a remote receiver at a fire tower on the second highest hill in the state. They use a microwave link to send the signal back to the hub. I was just sitting down to put Seaview in the soup when the pager goes off. The PD was getting all kinds of nasty static on their radio system. It turns out the the microwave dish at the top of the tower had iced up. Normally that wouldn't cause an issue, unless the antenna was out of alignment, or the transmitter had problems. The tower is about 100 feet high, or about seven flights of old wooden stairs. Shocked

It was not a fun night! Angry Grin
