This shot was taken through the prime focus of an 8 inch Meade LX200ACF. The magnification factor is roughly 50X, and that shot was at a speed of 1/400 of a second. My camera uses an APC size sensor, so the image is larger than you would see with a standard 35mm frame. It also eliminates the vinaigretting that you would get with a full size sensor. I think the telescope's collimnation is slightly off, but I was dodging clouds last night and didn't want to get stuck in the middle of an adjustment and lose my star. Quote:Sweet.
