thanks for the nice B-day wishes everyone 

And yes, it was fun: I got something I very much wanted, but did not even guess I would get, some very nice other things, a homecooked monster Japanese dinner with so much hot sake that after an hour I would have been - err - definitely unable to type correctly  and a dessert which sort of caused spontaneous combustion
