The thing is, it seems to work as it is-it's got it's own momentum so I'm just letting the story have its head. WWW IP Logged

Sometimes a character simply takes over and all you can do is to go with the flow! It's looking good though! I need some air. WWW IP Logged

Posts: 175 Location: Kent Re: Edge of Armageddon - latest news Reply #33 - Jan 20th, 2011 at 4:25pm Print Post I've totally re-written the scenes between Straker and Brezhnev - the original version just didn't feel right. This version, although I say so myself, is far more in keeping with the series. Now I just have to link it in the correct place and make good the plasterwork. THEN, I can bring Ford back from Turkey... WWW IP Logged

Do you mind my asking how you got it this far? Do Titan Books publish fan fiction? I always understood that you'd have to get permission from the copyright owners (ie The Anderson's or whoever owns the characters now) as otherwise having a UFO story published would infringe copyright. Is that why they passed maybe? I dunno I know that in the US you can submit Star Trek stories to the ptb's as long as you have an agent, is that the same thing as here? Hope you don't mind my asking I am mega curious as to how you got it this far. Many thanks IP Logged
