I'm not sure I can do this:

Nosferatu (Max Shreck)
Van Helsing (Kate Beckinsale, Hugh Jackman, David something or other)
Hammer's Draculas (Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing)
Hammer's Frankensteins (Peter Cushing)
Godzilla, Gidera, Mothra, et al (To Ho pictures)
Godzilla 1998
Lord of the Rings - Ralph Bakshi
Lord of the Rings - Peter Jackson
King Kong 1933, 2005 (I have yet to not cry over the ending of the 2005 version)
Fantastic Planet
The Mummy (Boris Karloff)
The Mummy, The Mummy Returns (Arnold Vosloo, Oded Fehr)
(Ok, Brendan Frasier, Arnold Vosloo and Oded Fehr all on screen at once .... flat line dragon's brain.)
Storm Riders (Ekin Chang, Sonny Chiba)
Enter the Dragon (Bruce Lee)
Tons of Historical Kung Fu flicks
Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone)
Robin Hood (Errol Flynn)
Prince of Thieves (Alan Rickman)
The Court Jester, Merry Andrew, The secret Life of Walter Mitty (Danny Kaye)
The Scarlet Pimpernel, Pimpernel Smith (Leslie Howard)
Dracula (Bela Lugosi)
Dracula (Jack Palance
Interview with a Vampire
Legend of the Eight Samurai
The Seven Samurai
The Three Musketeers (Michael York, et al)
The Three Musketeers (Gene Kelly)
The Three Musketeers (Disney)
The General (Buster Keaton)
Teahouse of the August Moon
Night of the Iguana
Boom
Lawrence of Arabia
POTC Uno, Dos and Tres. (Captain Jack Sparrow)

I quit. Unfortunately, I probably have five thousand favorite movies and they really are favorites because something in each of them grabbed me. Like I've only seen Curtis' Dracula with Jack Palance once, but the ending scene is still with me as is the unabashed power of the character. I wanta write like that. But I also want to write the Court Jester "get it, got it, good" ...  Grin

so many movies, so little time and I didn't even touch on the anime ones that I love like Captain Harlock who lives in very, very forgiving space.

Definitely not in order

Oh, my!  My list is incomplete!  Okay, Louise.  This is all your fault!

Added to Contemporary:
The Abyss (Ed Harris)
Star Trek (2010)
Independence Day (Will Smith)
LOTR (Elves, Aragorn, romance? That's a no brainer!)
POTC (but with reservations. Loved Jack, hated Keira!)
Shoot 'Em Up (Clive Owen.  I know.  I'm sick.  But it was just so damned funny!)
The Blind Side (Sandra Bullock)
Avatar (Sigourney Weaver.  Awesome love story!)

I can see I'm going to have to update my movie page soon.  Grin

Ok, I'm deranged.
And the rest of you named a lot of things I didn't think about. Just about anything I watch adds to my lore store.

Favorite movies. >.> Si~nce I'm not so much a fanfic writer but one who gives the dragon strange ideas. =w=

Circle of Iron(David Carradine)
Silverado(All the actors)
Lightening Swords of Death
Shogun Assassin
Lone Wolf and Cub(Which is the actual series? that Shogun assassin was loosely a mash up of. =w= )
Split Second (Rutger Hauer, Kim Cattrall, Alastair Duncan >W< )
Gen X Cops (>W<)
Legend(Tom Cruise and Tim Curry)
Rocky Horror Picture Show(Tim Curry)
The Shadow
Silent Hill
Pandorum
Thirteenth Ghost
Curse of the Golden Flower
The Crow
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
The Flying Guillotine

Also, there would be a lot of repeats as dragon and I have the same taste in films most times. -w-

And because I feel their plots are on par with any movie (also I don't play these games I watch them. =w= ):
Star Craft 1 and 2
XenoSaga 1,2,3 (The cut scenes are movie epic.)

I often wonder how anyone over the age of 50 can revert into being a petty, self-centered, megalomaniacal 5 year old, then I remember: Not everyone can function as a real person.

Louise: part of the problem is not age, it's esoterica.

Circle of Iron is early 1980's David Carradine kung fu fairy tale. (has Christopher Lee in it)

Most of these movies are 1980's 1990's.

Oh heavens, I forgot about the flying guillotine! Very bloody historical kung fu movie.

Oh, heavens, buti, buti whipping torture ... now you've done it!!!!

shoot.

And watching samurai movies with the sound almost off while being serenaded by a three year old with the infamous song "you". LOL.

OK, so, dragon is responsible for Rini's movie issues ... Laughter.
