Virginia Lake, Command Operative, SHADO Operations - Earth's first, and only, line of defense against a power threat of extraterrestrial origin.

Virginia Lake was senior designer for the Utronics FTL radar system SHADO needed to detect aliens from far out in space. She joined SHADO operations sometime after the successful implementation of the Utronic equipment she helped design.

Colonel Lake was played by British actor, Wanda Ventham.
