Paul J. Foster, Command Operative, SHADO Operations.
Earth's first, and only, line of defense against a power threat of extraterrestrial origin.
Foster was recruited to SHADO following a UFO incident where the experimental jet he was testing was destroyed, killing the co-pilot. Foster is considered by some to be SHADO's own version of the legendary James Bond, always gets his lady while getting the mission accomplished.

Colonel Foster was played by British actor, Michael Billington.
